Welcome Mary Anne Sherman, our new Office Manager

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Mary Anne Sherman as Avalonia’s new Office Manager, effective this week. Mary Anne lives in Niantic, and has years of experience working at Sacred Heart School in Groton. Her work there included bookkeeping, data base creation and management, social media, organizing data for grants, and creating flyers and ads.

As a business owner, Mary Anne designs and creates her own line of women’s jewelry. She was president of the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly and chaired their regional show exhibit.

And here’s a bonus: Mary Anne is an organizer extraordinaire, and she plans to clean up our overloaded office space! She will work 20 hours a week, much of that time in the Hatch Street office. I hope you will have a chance to meet and get to know her.
