Invasive Plant Removal and Trail Preparation at the Louis and Gladys Bond Preserve in Montville/Oakdale

On a beautiful, late summer day, a group gathered at Avalonia’s most recent acquisition and largest property, the Louis and Gladys Bond Preserve in Montville/Oakdale. While one group stayed behind and removed invasive plants, another group toured the property and cleared trails along the way. With two more stewardship events planned (here and here), we are looking forward to our Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting on October 22. Thank you to all of our volunteers!
