Coronavirus Guidance For Members And Volunteers

We first ask all members and volunteers to follow CDC recommendations to reduce your exposure to the coronavirus. Avalonia has taken the following steps regarding operations and stewardship of our preserves:

• All public events are cancelled or postponed through April 15, possibly longer.
• Committee meetings shall be cancelled or held using remote access (either conference call or video conferencing).
• Our office is closed until further notice, but you may reach us by phone, (860-884-3500) email, (avalonialc@yahoo.com) or US Mail (PO Box 49, Old Mystic, CT 06372)
• Trails will remain open to the public, but we request that you avoid any gathering beyond immediate family and carefully observe social-distancing protocol.
