Avalonia's President, Dennis Main, At Our New Ledyard Office Location

Avalonia is on the Move!

Big news!

As of August 1, 2025, Avalonia’s administrative offices will be located at 756 Colonel Ledyard Highway in Ledyard, CT (see map below).

Avalonia President, Dennis Main, noted that the organization is moving from office space it has occupied for 20 years in Mystic. It first moved there in 2005 at a time when it had no employees and the space was closer to the geographical center of the area that it served.

Since then, Avalonia has become a nationally-accredited Regional Land Trust with a mission area more clearly defined as the SCCOG area (roughly New London County), and has adopted a five-year strategic plan. A move was inevitable with the current staff of four plus volunteers and interns. Additional space that was centrally located was required.

Avalonia is deeply grateful to supporter and landlord Jay Louis Pelligrino for the accommodations over the past 20 years. Avalonia looks forward to its new, convenient, centralized location, and adequate space for the organization’s staff and volunteers.
