Accessible Path at Cedar Wood Preserve is Finished

We have exciting news! Work has been completed on the entryway to Cedar Wood Preserve, one of Avalonia’s newest acquisitions in Norwich. After this week’s rain and wind storm, the bridge shows its worth.

The parking lot for the preserve, located at 180 North Wawecus Hill Road, includes an accessible space. The path from the parking lot to the wooden bridge over a vernal pool has been completed, making the entrance to the preserve accessible to everyone. Eventually, Avalonia hopes to extend accessibility throughout the upper flat part of the 47-acre property.
