The Avalonia Land Conservancy’s TriTown Forest Preserve is a 527-acre stretch of rugged and unfragmented woods and wetlands located in North Stonington, Griswold and Preston.

As summer gives way to autumn, we’re offering two different guided treks—one geared towards slower-paced nature observation; the other for hard-rock, longer-distance hikers—along TriTown’s magnificent trail system amidst a backdrop of migrating birds, insects, and amphibians; late-blooming wildflowers; early fall foliage; mushrooms; and stone walls.
