We’re Stepping Into the New Year Filled with Gratitude

Thanks to your generosity, we not only reached our goal — we exceeded it!

There are few groups as dedicated or as effective as determined conservationists. Perhaps this is because they are aware that the work they do creates a permanent legacy that preserves our most precious resources and brings our communities together.

Together in 2025, we raised $42,791 through membership and $201,698 through our annual appeal. Combined, these resources grew our operational fundraising by more than $50,000 over 2024 — a remarkable 25% increase!

We are also very proud to announce that we welcomed 210 new members and donors to Avalonia in 2025. These new supporters made a commitment to take this conservation journey with us. They join many existing donors, members and volunteers who are making a difference every day for the growing open space movement and the people, wildlife and landscapes that benefit from our work.

We’d also like to extend a special thanks to our new and continuing Business Members, who amplify our mission by sharing our vision of a greener New London County with their customers and communities. We hope you’ll support the businesses that support Avalonia Land Conservancy in 2026.
