“Strategies in Land Conservation”

Something of a Valentine’s week tradition, on February 11^th, Director of Stewardship, Tobias Glaza, spoke with Yale’s School of the Environment students about Avalonia’s role in the “Perpetual Obligation: Land Trust Stewardship”.   As a part of the Strategies in Land Conservation class, the discussion included, among other things, topics of fee simple and conservation easement stewardship, baseline documentation, and managing preserves for multiple values.
