Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation Pitches In at Glemboski-Ous Preserve

In conjunction with the summer tour of the band Phish, their non-profit, The WaterWheel Foundation, and a group of volunteers showed up the morning of their July 24 show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Montville, CT to help Avalonia clear trails at the Glemboski-Ous Preserve. The group, along with Avalonia’s leadership team, cleared the area for the new entrance which will improve street sight lines, and the entire length of the main arterial trailway of the Preserve. They were also able to mark a complete trail loop for the Montville portion of the property.

The WaterWheel Foundation was created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band’s various charitable activities and has been harnessing the kindness of the Phish fan community to create positive change for over 25 years.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to support Avalonia!
