Celebrating the Life of Frank Eppinger
It is with heavy hearts that we share news of the passing of Frank Eppinger. A celebration of his life was held on September 29th at the Wadawancuk Club in Stonington, CT. Frank was lauded to the rooftops in a structured program of speakers, some of whom mentioned the countless hours Frank spent doing pro bono legal work for Avalonia as an attorney.
Frank was an avid and charismatic outdoorsman, fisherman, sailor, gardener, train buff, historian, and lifelong learner. He was an active member of the Stonington and North Stonington communities, including the North Stonington Historical Society, Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, Avalonia Land Conservancy, and several other organizations.
