Trail Description
There is a town parking lot at the eastern end of Wall Street. Don’t miss out on the numerous signs describing the history of the land and the Paddock. The preserve is the site of a marsh restoration project with native plantings to create a more resilient landscape in the face of climate change. With majestic views of Little Narragansett Bay, you are sure to see waterfowl and maybe even fish jumping out of the water. The preserve has two benches for sitting and enjoying a snack with a view. From the entrance to the preserve, you can walk approximately 0.03 miles to stone seawall. You can also walk through and around a meadow, for some good bird watching. It is pet friendly (dogs on a leash). Don’t miss out on this small, beautiful preserve and the views it has to offer.
