Avalonia’s own Margaret Gibson has published another important book of poetry and will be presenting poems from it on Sunday\, Sept 26 at 4:00pm at the Arts Mystic Cafe in Mystic. Margaret’s poetry is nationally-recognized and she is Connecticut’s current Poet Laureate. Tickets for the reading are $15 for regular admission and $5 for students. Don’t miss this wonderful event! \nWith The Glass Globe\, celebrated poet Margaret Gibson completes a trilogy distinguished by its meditative focus on the author’s experience of her late husband’s Alzheimer’s disease.
