DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday morning\, September 21 at 9:00 a.m. (rain date 9/22) at Avalonia’s new Alden Fish Family Preserve in Groton and be a part of our efforts at managing this 42 acre preserve.   \n \nThis event will focus on clearing the invasive Japanese Knotweed along Sandy Hollow Rd.  \nVolunteers are asked to bring gloves\, sturdy footwear\, drinking water\, and bug spray.  If you have loppers or clippers feel free to bring them.  Please register so that we can better plan for this no-cost event.
