DESCRIPTION:A CT Trails Weekend Hike \nChallenging hike up Rixtown Mt. in honor of our 50th anniversary with views and a quarry\, then through a chestnut oak forest to Avalonia’s Lost Pond\, hiking over two old stone dams. Remarkable stone walls and other structures are found along the entire trail. Please bring water and a cell phone.
